This toy is a big gorgeous monster. The ridges and scales are incredibly well-defined and the colour is bright and fabulous.
This handsome beast is called the Dragon and is produced by a company that you may have heard of; Mr. Hankey’s Toys. Mr. Hankey’s Toys (will be referred in this review as “MHT”) is well established as a purveyor of large human-genital based toys. But as you can see, they have recently begun to foray into producing more fantasy-style dicks. There is currently a growing number of fantasy based toy options available in their shop, currently numbering about 6; for those of us with a hankering for some big bad monster partners.
In the realm of moderately sized toys, this toy certainly leans toward the larger side. This particular toy, 7.5 inches in circumference at its thickest point and with 8.5 inches of insertable length, this Dragon seems like it might fit into the general “large” bracket from other makers. But this is a Mister Hankey’s Small. It seems safe to surmise that Mister Hankey’s Toys is a company that tends to cater to those who prefer a bit more size in their toy box.
Before I go too much further in the review, I’d like to post the particulars of this Dragon

In this review, I will not be using numeric scoring but instead be offering an overall review of the category. I feel like numeric reviews are hard to make fair, for me at least. Most toys I own tend to work for me so marking something as a #/10 feels misleading. Instead I’ll just be giving you the information on the toy as well as my experience with it and allow you the reader to judge it for yourself.
Colour
In the fantasy toy community we love to customize our toys. Who wouldn’t want to have a toy based on their favourite monster babe? As you may have noticed, this toy is a striking almost robin egg teal. The teal I requested is this particular image of a napkin which was matched very closely and I’m incredibly happy with the how the colour mix turned out.
As you can see from my beautiful teal toy and a number of other toy pics floating around, MHT is willing to take custom colour orders.
I asked them to clarify the options that are available and they told me they are willing to do both solids as well as fades but DO NOT offer clean splits or marbles*. They also offer metallic pigments as an option. Recently this month there has been a new option for ordering toys added to the website that allows for custom colour and fade orders. When in doubt on whether or not something can be ordered, I’d suggest messaging their customer support.
Firmness
This toy is the listed MHT 75% soft. This particular firmness seems to fall between 0030 and 0050 shore firmness when compared to other toys
via squish testing. Personally after using this toy I do sort of wish I would have ordered it in 0030 shore firmness. The thicker parts of the toy feel firmer than the more narrow parts such as the lower bit of the shaft, just something to keep in mind. This firmness allows the toy to stand on its own without help, even with a rather narrow base. I wish I knew this before, but you can request 0030 shore firmness (which is a soft in most other stores) even though it is not listed. I believe this request must be made via the customer support ticket but I’m not 100 percent sure. I have been told that if 0030 is not available, you can also choose a 40% mix which is apparently almost imperceptibly different.
Texture
The Dragon is very texture heavy, as you can see from the photos. The texture on this toy is incredibly well defined. The snake-like scales on the small are individually rendered in such detail that very little is lost in the pour. Unfortunately, it seems that in the attempt at smoothing the small Dragon’s positive, some of the minute scale definition is lost or reduced in some areas. The big plate scales on the upper and underside portions of the shaft are defined but not sharp. They are rounded off and surprisingly gentle for how severe they look at first glance. I will say this though, this toy is a massive pain in the ass to clean. It’s not the worst toy to clean that I own (that honour goes to the Tantus Bound) but it took a good 10 minutes to thoroughly get clean in the sink.
In use – Vaginal
This toy certainly falls on the upper end of the usable spectrum for me. It took some serious warmup to get ready this big boy. Insertion was easy and not pinchy, pokey or painful. Texture was intense as my body worked to accommodate the swell.
I wish it were a little softer to allow my body a little bit more leeway. Being firmer than I would have preferred I think the texture at first was a bit intense and if you’re very sensitive to texture it might not be a good toy for you. The large scales can be a bit overwhelming from time to time but I am not as sensitive to texture as some people may be and I cannot feel any irritation or pain from the tiny snake scales lining the sides of the toy.
One thing I really love about this toy is that its amazing for grinding and rubbing against the gspot not fully inserted. I can use 4 inches of this toy and it’s just as good as being fully inserted. Using this toy for thrusting is somewhat overwhelming for me as it is on my size threshold. On that note, the stretch the toy gave me was pleasant and filling. The usable length was a bit too much for me and I bottomed out the toy at about 6.5 inches, just at the end of the swell. I wish I could have felt the whole thing and hilted it but that’s just how it goes sometimes. What I do like about the toy’s full length even though I can’t use all of it is that it makes the toy much easier to ride and still enjoy.
I haven’t tried it yet with our fucking machine but part of me is pretty sure it might be somewhat difficult to counterbalance.
On a final note I would not recommend this toy for a beginner unless there eventually become smaller sizes available**. I will absolutely be reaching for this toy again anytime I’m wanting a good workout.
In use – Anal
Unfortunately, I will not be able to review this aspect. I experience some bodily issues that do not allow me to handle textured toys. I apologize for this, but where I fall short I know another person will be able to fill that void.. so to speak. The base seems rather narrow for anal use but of course as I cannot speak on this issue since I can’t use the toy in this manner, it’s ONLY an observation.
Shipping and Packaging
From the moment I emailed their customer support about the toy to the day it was shipped, I have absolutely no complaints. The shipping was quick from their workshop. The parcel was shipped USPS flat rate but I’m not sure if this is typical or if they have other shipping methods. USPS took their time with my order which is to be expected really and is no fault of the shipper. The box was labeled discretely, you wouldn’t know it was being sent from MHT at all just looking at the address. Keep in mind I’m in the USA and so is MHT so I have no experience with how they fill out customs forms.
The toy was wrapped in thick black plastic pouch with a rubber band around it and packaged with plastic air cushions to minimize sliding and movement. The black plastic pouch was not see-through and without unwrapping the toy, you wouldn’t know what was inside the wrap. The pouch was not heat sealed.
Communication/Customer Support
Absolutely outstanding CS. From the first message to the last, they were on the ball replying to me. In the course of writing this review I was in contact with them asking all sorts of questions about customs and the like. They were incredibly patient with me and answered very quickly, sometimes even within an hour of sending the message.
Overall I think the Dragon is a lovely toy that offers exceptional texture and the size range is pretty impressive for those who like bigger toys. A downside for me is the softest non-custom order firmness is still pretty firm but a softer firmness is requestable via CS message. The texture can be intense when firmer but the small details did not hinder the experience for me. You can custom order a colour or fade on these toys as well. And to those who may be dismayed due to the large toy sizes, I have heard that there may be a smaller size on most multi-size models in the future.

*They have begun to venture into making highlights and marbles as evidenced by pours posted on their Twitter. I would still suggest if youre interested in a custom colouration to message them before hand to see what is doable.
