The Big Daddy certainly lives up to its title. When I unboxed this guy it stood large, proud, almost monumental.  The length was pretty intimidating from the start but the girth just had me excited to try it.

This toy comes in handy to fit a VERY particular fantasy of mine with a character you may be able to figure out via my review photographs.  The Big Daddy is rather… “menacing” wouldn’t you say?  It certainly does Awaken something inside me.  Okay, enough bad references for now, let’s get to the gritty details of why this guy make my body quake and rocks me to my core.

Colour

While I am someone who very much adores colourful toy choices, for this particular toy I actually wanted something generally human.

When I ordered this toy I did not ask for any particular colour aside from lighter human so MHT sent me a lighter skin coloured toy.  As a note, it feels to me like it is much deeper toned in person than in these photographs due to lighting.

The toy still matches my intended inspiration.  That being said, Mister Hankey’s Toys does have a few more options for customization including washes and marbles now, as evidenced by their Twitter feed.

Firmness

As with the Dragon that I reviewed, I got the Big Daddy in their proprietary 75% soft firmness.  This firmness is between 0030 and 0050 on the shore firmness scale when I compared it to my other toys from other makers.  I apologize for the estimate, eventually I will be purchasing a shore firmness gauge so I can offer more accurate measurements of different firmnesses.

In my opinion this firmness really worked well for me with this toy.  MHT does allow for custom firmness orders, I just prefer their 75% soft because it is simpler to order and with low textured toys it works perfectly fine for me.  The 75% soft firmness paired fairly well with the toy’s texture and girth.  If the toy were softer I feel that perhaps it would conform to my body a tiny bit better but at the same time you might lose some texture.  The firmness also allows the toy to freely stand on its own with no issue in it tipping over, which is excellent for certain scenarios including riding.  I am not sure if the experience would have been better with a softer firmness, but softer is usually what I do tend to reach for in girthier toys.

Texture

The texture on the Big Daddy is actually rather subtle.  In a stark contrast to a toy like the Dragon, the veins and skin texture on the Big Daddy are much more gentle on the body which allows for a longer general play session.  The delightfully realistic texture feels really nice both to the touch and internally and it doesn’t chafe or ride too rough.  I wouldn’t say it doesn’t need a lot of lube but it feels like it needs less lube to really shine than a heavier textured toy would.

In use – Vaginal

This toy continues to blow me out of the water when I use it.  There are several reasons why I continue to keep bypassing all my other toys to reach for the Big Daddy.  One reason is that the Big Daddy reaches close to my girth limit.  In fact, because it doesn’t surpass  or equal that limit, it gives me comfortable wiggle room to decide what kind of toying experience I want during a particular session.  Using this toy makes me feel wonderfully full and fulfilled, especially given the mental scenario I’ve applied to it.  An orgasm with this thrusting inside me while I stimulate my clit is enough to send my head into the backboard and my mind into the empty space between realities.

Another appealing aspect of the Big Daddy is that I don’t need a whole lot of preparation before I’m able to use it either.  I’m able to get into a good toying mind-set and imagine a scenario with a character or turn on some of my favourite porn and be ready to go with it as soon as I lube it up.  This actually surprised me the first time I jumped straight to the Big Daddy instead of prepping myself with other toys, usually because don’t handle girthy toys well right off the starting block.

I swear to god I never praise this about toys but here it comes in handy; the length.  I never praise length of toys because I cannot physically take very long toys and they tend to actually hurt me.  But I will make an absolute exception for the Big Daddy because the length of this toy is a god send for riding it.  It doesn’t need propped up or anything.  The length is also astoundingly good for thrusting.  As I am rather short, I have shorter arms but the length on the Big Daddy allows me to thrust to my heart’s content without struggling. I can be as relaxed as possible and enjoy the experience without curling over to try to handle the base.  With its extra length I can also thrust as deeply as I want and the blunt head produces a wonderful internal pressure without being painful.

The base is also a big plus for the Big Daddy.  As I said with riding, the length is perfect but the base is a true MVP too.  It’s wide enough where the toy doesn’t wobble or falter and it even stands tall on a mattress when other toys might fall over.  The base is also undoubtedly wide enough to be safe for anal use.

There is also the aspect of the Vac U Lock hole addition.  I ordered it with this addition because I was curious how it would hold up on the F Machine we have and boy did it perform amazingly.  We hooked up the machine and put the toy on it and honestly it was perfectly balanced, it didn’t falter, the toy stayed put for the duration of the session and I was rendered a drooling mess by the time we finished.  All in all, if you have a fucking machine the vac u lock addition is well worth it.  It is literally plug and play at that point.

In use – Anal

As of yet, I am unable to take a toy of this size anally.  I look forward to the day when I can because if vaginal has anything to say for it, it would be a gentle ride and probably an excellent bump up for realistic texture.

Shipping and Packaging

Shipping was as fast as previously experienced if not faster due to the more “in-stock” nature of this colouration.  Mister Hankey’s Toys has also upped their packaging game, filling the box with air cushions and now wrapping the toy in a tight sealed plastic wrap which was complete with a sticker.  The sticker promptly joined its sex toy related kin on my large computer in our office.

The new wrapping on the toy was transparent unlike their previous packaging which was a dark black pouch.  While this may be a negative for some, for me personally the packaging was much more aesthetically pleasing and feels more professional.

There were no external clues on the box that could be used to decipher that what was shipped was a sex toy.  Though as stated prior, I am based in the US and have no information on how MHT fills out customs forms.

Communication/Customer Support

The customer support from Mister Hankey’s Toys continues to be excellent.  Even when they are out of the office for particular award shows and events they keep a customer informed and most importantly apologize for longer CS wait times due to those events.
